| Lockehaven Farm is owned and operated by Phil & Emilie Shipman. We have a small farm (38 acres) with some open land that we've been clearing since we bought the property in the mid 80's. We've bred and raised registered Belgians, a Hanoverian, other warmbloods, andan off the track Thoroughbred. We also raised registered Black Angus cattle. We both grew up with animals and both have experience with artificial insemination, dairy farming, and now our current farm. We cleared our property, built our home, cut out the trees and hired them sawn to build our first barn. Emilie works full time as a research lab tech. Phil is a retired police captain and now trucks horses professionally and plows snow.
